Overview
Theme Randomizer is used for changing the MS Windows 95/98 theme. Theme Randomizer can be configured to apply a randomly choosen theme or the next theme in the list, as well as you may just select a theme from a list of themes.
Theme Randomizer allows you to specify a program that applies themes: Microsoft Plus! Themes, or Leftside Software Desktop Themes, or any other program that supports the standard application of themes. Also just select the Themes Folder that you wish to use and Theme Randomizer will search that folder any sub-folders for theme files, allowing you to sort your theme files in sub-folders.

Version History
- Version 2.5:
Version 2.5 addresses the problem of the menu not being displayed in Windows 98. This is caused by a difference in how Win98 displays menus. If the menu does not display run the included editor to select "Display Menu in One Column". This will let Windows handle menus that are too large for the screen. If your total menu will fit on the screen feel free to break it into columns. There have been some other minor fixes and changes.
- Version 2.1:
Version 2.1 includes a fix for the non-random theme changes. Theme Randomizer would give an error when it reached the end of the list instead of starting at the top again. This has been fixed. Also there is now a work around for the error that many of you recieved when trying to use Theme Randomizer with Left Side Software's Desktop Themes, just check the box in the configuration dialog.
- Version 2.0:
Version 2.0 adds the command-line option /cycle that will just change the theme and then exit. Also you may no choose whether to display the themes in the menu or in a list. And the good news is that noone should recieve the "Invalid Search String" error. When the error occurs Theme Randomizer now opens the configuration screen and tells you that there was a problem with the themes directory information. There is also improved error checking on the information placed in Themes Directory edit box, so that there should be very few times when TR will not find any themes.
- Version 1.5
Version 1.5 includes bug fixes and some enhancments recommended by users. You can now specify which directory will be the default base directory for the search for theme files. Also you can specify the location of Themes.exe. These two fixes should help with the "Invalid Search String" error. Also you can change how the list of themes is displayed in the popup menu.
